I’m sharing this not so much for the recipe as for the product, of which I had been completely unaware before: frozen dragon fruit purée. The dragon fruit that I find fresh is always the variety with the white flesh, but the frozen one has the vibrant purple flesh that makes a gorgeous bowl! The recipe calls for 2 packets, and each bag contains 4 packets (watch the terminology so that you don’t buy more than you need, unless of course you decide you really love having it around for smoothies!). The recipe is from
One Potato; I topped this bowl with mango, banana, raspberries, and hemp seeds. This was both beautiful and delicious!
For the smoothie bowl
2 frozen bananas, chopped
2 packs frozen dragon fruit
½ cup frozen raspberries
1 serving vanilla protein powder
1/3 cup milk of choice
For topping
granola, chocolate chips, hemp seeds, bee pollen, fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, mango or other favorite fruit
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend 2 minutes, place in bowls, and top with desired toppings.
